MOON LIGHTING BY EMPLOYEES : BLUE MOON TO FULL MOON

what is MOON LIGHTING??
A small example for moonlighting.
Taking up another part-time job or business or industrial unit simultaneously with that of the original job is known as Moon Lighting by Employees (double jobbing).

Blue Moon

Some employees will not be satisfied with the level of wages and benefits and will not go for second job in future because of their inability in getting a second job.

Such type of employees will have a conflict with the organisational wage level as this category of employees need a second job for additional income and it will not be available to them. Thus, their efforts to earn additional income through second job will not bear any fruit. Such type of efforts and the consequent result may be called Blue Moon Lighting by employees.

Full Moon Lighting

Employees who realise that their jobs are almost negligible from the point of view of social status, venture to start a business unit / industrial unit. They spend most of their time and resources in starting, developing, expanding and diversifying their business or industrial units. They keep on staying on the job as it will be useful for them as a shock absorber in times of need.

Their financial and social position will almost be determined by the second occupation. The extent of second jobbing may be known as Full Moon Lighting by employees.

JARGONS

Special words or expressions that are used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand.

We the ronsHeR's have decided to help everyone understand jargon's .So in the coming weeks we would be blogging about unique jargon's in the field of HR. We feel that jargon's are  essential for any conversation, we hope that our updates will help increase your knowledge.

KFC its finger lickin good

It was just another day , we were at KFC in Manipal .We were enjoying our meal when suddenly we were asked if we would be interested in taking a tour of the kitchen, we  were surprised with this development , we din waste any time in saying YES!!!!!!

We were greeted by Mr.P.Naik with a broad smile, who took us on the tour. He showed us all the different  department and also entertained our questions.

We were happy to see that the kitchen was spot less. The veg and non veg items were stored separately and also cooked in different areas.
It was a nice gesture by the staff of KFC Manipal to invite us to their kitchen, however we were pondering on the fact Y US ??
Then we came to know that a few other people were also lucky in having the tour.
As future MBA's we started questioning ourselves what is the purpose of  this initiative??  There emerged many answers  , and yet new ones are emerging till date .

"YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE", these were the words of Mr. Sai to us when we had the pleasure of having an audience with him.

We had been given the responsibility of assisting the WI PRO team who had come to our campus for the selection of candidates for their company. The team was headed by Mr.Sai, who was supported by Ms. Neethu and Mr. Ankith.

Firstly we had some discussions with Mr.Ankith , about the present scenario of HR's . He was of the opinion that patience and perseverance give fruit in the present world. His thoughts made us realise that there are many direction for having a  good career but choosing the right direction is very crucial.

It was nearly 4 pm, when the final P.I's for the candidates started ,however we were given the opportunity to clear our doubts with Mr.Sai and Ms.Neethu . We grasped this opportunity with both hands ,and cleared our doubts regarding present job condition and various job profiles.

Mr.Sai noticed that we had to improve on some aspects, and provided valuable suggestions for improvement. Then the WI PRO team had a visit to our MBA campus and had a fruitful discussion with our Director. Then the team proceeded to their next destination.

It was a really good experience for the ronsHeRs to learn , improve their skills and knowledge for their future endeavours.

McDonald's Corporate Social Responsibility-Making Progress

Being responsible is at the core of everything that they do at McDonald's. It is a deep-rooted value and a tradition that dates back to their founder Ray Kroc. It is also one of their top business priorities.
They believe that their continuing success depends on their stakeholders trust in each and every aspect of their business, be it the quality and safety of the food they serve; in the way they do their business; the way they connect and make the difference in the communities they operate; being sensitive to environment and being sustainable.

What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?

CSR CSR CSR.....
A few years back none of us knew his concept, but in recent times every company is concentrating on this concept to achieve their future goals. So we must be aware of what this CSR really is?
The above  video gives us some idea of what this CSR really is and what it can be..
